I was so thrilled to see an Avedon exhibit show up here in Detroit. He has been an inspiration of mine since I first picked a copy of Vogue. I absolutely loved the giant photograph of a model with elephants from the 50's. The exhibit also featured his original contact sheets with selections and comments from the editors of HarpersBazaar.
