Michael Porten: Homesick

SCAD painting graduate Michael Porten is having his first solo show in NYC! His exhibition is entitled Homesick and features oil-on canvas paintings that were inspired by Albert Camus’ "thoughts on philosophical suicide, the dichotomy of human desire for understanding, purpose, and knowledge, and the desire to digress, self-destruct, and rest."
