Michael Porten: Homesick

SCAD painting graduate Michael Porten is having his first solo show in NYC! His exhibition is entitled Homesick and features oil-on canvas paintings that were inspired by Albert Camus’ "thoughts on philosophical suicide, the dichotomy of human desire for understanding, purpose, and knowledge, and the desire to digress, self-destruct, and rest."

You can see his work at P.J.S. Exhibitions located at 238 W. 14th Street. Homesick opens January 7^th and runs through February 27^th.
