The Heidelberg Project

Since 1986, artist Tyree Guyton has converted abandoned houses on Detroit's Hidelberg Street into an outdoor artwork environment. Despite the thousands of visitors the street receives, the city of Detroit has condemned and demolished two of the project's buildings.
