Happy Memorial Day!

I couldn't have asked for better weather for Memorial Day weekend. If only I had found this basket on earlier on Etsy I would have gone for a picnic!

Off to Wisconsin

I'm heading to Madison to see my two lovely friends start the rest of their lives together. I can't wait to see all of their beautiful wedding details come together.

dear kristina, here are 10 reasons why i'm so happy you were born:

1. you are one of the funniest people i know. you can make any ole day at the office some how seem hilarious.

2. you are the only person that regularly goes to starbucks not to drink coffee, but to indulge in the pastries.

3. you wake up and love life. you don't sit still (literally), and you don't take any day for granted. you seek out joy and bring your friends along for the ride.

4. you have the best collection of terrible rap. every song somehow manages to feature t-pain.

5. you have the biggest heart. you love your friends and family and you follow that heart whenever it takes you.

6. you have the greatest appreciation for my grilled cheese sandwiches.

7. you turn your nose up to red wine, but enjoy a cheap box of franzia.

8. you refuse to grow up.

9. you work ridiculously hard but never get stressed about work or the small things.

10. you read my blog.

I adore Etsy for it's endless supply of beauty and inspiration. Treasure Fly is a wonderful LA based shop that sells beautiful etches and prints. Each print has such a fabulous unique style. I wish I could cover all of my walls with these! Check out more of her work here.

Running Wilde

Okay so I really, truly, am happy that summer is fast approaching, but seeing that Running Wilde is going to be on Fox this fall, makes me wish fall was here now! The show stars Will Arnett & Keri Russell, and is produced by Mitchell Hurwitz, who ran Arrested Development! I'm ridiculously excited.

Stella International Cafe

I'm so thankful to have my favorite coffee place right where I work. Stella International Cafe is located in the historic Fischer Building in downtown Detroit. Not only is their espresso amazing, the paninis are great too!

Lunch at Le Petit Zinc

Trish and I had to check out the new French bistro in Detroit after seeing it featured in the New York Times and on Dateline. The food is amazing! We munched on a delicious sandwich and a chocolate crepe. Definitely a new favorite!
